Stone Island has again surpassed themselves and have created some spectacular jackets for their spring/summer 2011 collection.

Let’s start off with the Stone Island heat reactive in green what a great jacket this has been treated with a thermo sensitive coating which when exposed to warm temperatures it changes from a dark colour to this amazing bright green colour. Stand out from the rest wearing this jacket, watch as this jacket transforms right before your eyes. The jacket is lightweight and has a high neck and a large peaked hood. This iconic jacket is part of the White badge collection and a new feature to Stone Island spring summer collection is that the badge can be removed from the arm and worn on the inside of the jacket.

The next jacket has already had many great reviews and is going to be collector’s item! The Stone Island Ghost Ventile jacket in white. An all round amazing jacket, not only does this jacket look great but the features and fabrics provide superb weather protection. The ghost ventile jacket is made from a high performance cotton which is the same fabric used for fighter pilot suits. It is a thick weave and the properties of this fibre swell when wet creating a barrier. Even though the material is thin the protection is immense. An impressive jacket for the summer, lightweight with a large peaked hood and high neck. The ghost ventile sports an all white Stone Island badge with matching buttons to blend in with the colour of the jacket – hence the name ghost, again you can remove the badge and attach it to the inside of this jacket.
